Yaffa’s Dijon- Silan chicken
This recipe is my sister’s. We are so different in cooking. She is slow and I am very fast. She is particular about every thing and I am more laid-back. She is very serious about every step and I am willing to improvise and experiment. Nevertheless, she is a phenomenal cook.
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard , smooth
8 chicken thighs or drumsticks
1 tbsp seeded mustard
3 tbsp. silan (date syrup)
1 tsp. Coarse salt
1 tsp. black pepper
⅓ cup water
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 garlic bulb
Preheat the oven (400°)
Mix all of the ingredients well.
Put in a cooking bag and bake for an hour (400°) till the chicken is brown and well roasted.
