Hwayej salmon skewers
15 salmon cubes
1 tsp. Paprika
2 tbsp. hawayej spice mix
½ tsp.cumin
¼ tsp. cardamom
¼ tsp turmeric
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 tbsp. Olive oil
Mix all of the ingredients.
Rub the fish with the mix and put the fish on skewers.
Let it sit in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
Grill for or roast in the oven for 15 minutes(400 degrees) Top with the tomato salsa.
For the charred tomato salsa:
2 ripe tomatoes
1 chili pepper
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 tbsp. olive oil
¼ c. chopped parsley
2 tbsp. Lemon juice
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Broil the tomatoes and the chili pepper on high.
Chop the tomatoes and add the rest of the ingredients. Mix and fix seasoning.
