Portobello Mushroom skewers in basil dressing

  • 3 big Portobello mushrooms

  • 3/4 cup fresh basil leaves or 5 frozen basil cubes

  • Put slices of the mushroom on skewers. Drizzle with a dash of salt. Broil for 5 minutes. No more. 

  • 1 tsp. crushed garlic 

  • 3 tbsp. olive oil 

  • Salt and pepper 

For the dressing:

  1. Turn the oven on “Broil” -high

  2. Cut each mushroom into 4 thick slices, lengthwise. Sprinkle with a dash of salt.

  3. Put on skewers and broil for 5 minutes. Take out

  4. Mix the ingredients of the dressing

  5. Drizzle the mushroom slices with the dressing.
